La lectura es crucial en las empresas de naturaleza tecnol\u00f3gica, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n en las empresas consultoras. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La escritura resulta esencial en el sector sanitario y tambi\u00e9n de consultor\u00eda; la conversaci\u00f3n es clave para la negociaci\u00f3n y atenci\u00f3n al cliente; y la comprensi\u00f3n es fundamental en tecnolog\u00eda y atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pesar de estos resultados, se evidenci\u00f3 una discrepancia significativa entre las habilidades esperadas y las habilidades que tienen los empleados. La mayor\u00eda tiene habilidades de escritura y conversaci\u00f3n de nivel b\u00e1sico, mientras que se espera un nivel profesional en estas dos competencias; en general, los l\u00edderes de las empresas latinoamericanas esperan que sus equipos tengan un nivel intermedio de ingl\u00e9s (B2 o superior), pero muchos solo tienen niveles b\u00e1sicos (A1 o A2).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como ejemplo de esto est\u00e1n los colaboradores de nivel asistencia, que suelen tener un nivel A1 frente al esperado B1; los profesionales de nivel medio suelente tener nivel B1 frente al esperado B2, y los supervisores y directores enfrentan a\u00fan mayores discrepancias.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Uso e Impacto del Ingl\u00e9s en el Entorno Corporativo<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En Am\u00e9rica Latina, el 42% de las empresas utiliza el ingl\u00e9s en hasta el 90% de sus actividades. En el sector de tecnolog\u00eda, el 17% considera que es una obligaci\u00f3n dominar el ingl\u00e9s, el 15% de los departamentos de ventas lo requieren, las \u00e1reas de marketing en un 14%, y operaciones log\u00edsticas tambi\u00e9n en un 14%. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las principales actividades que requieren ingl\u00e9s incluyen el acceso a valiosas fuentes de informaci\u00f3n (34%), negociaciones comerciales (26%) y comunicaci\u00f3n entre equipos multiculturales (22%).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ahora bien, el estudio revela c\u00f3mo la falta de dominio del ingl\u00e9s impacta negativamente en el desempe\u00f1o de las empresas. El\u00a0 69% de las empresas encuestadas se ve afectado por no tener equipos biling\u00fces, especialmente en atenci\u00f3n sanitaria (83%), manufactura (76%) y consultor\u00eda (71%). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las principales consecuencias incluyen dificultades en el acceso a informaci\u00f3n en ingl\u00e9s, en el 34% de los casos, en un 26% las negociaciones con clientes y el 22% lo evidencia durante la comunicaci\u00f3n interna.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desde la perspectiva de los empleados, tener niveles bajos de ingl\u00e9s representa problemas de comunicaci\u00f3n entre equipos para el 33%, otro 28% tiene dificultades para acceder a informaci\u00f3n y el 20% encuentra obst\u00e1culos en la
